For John Rexroth, orthopedics isn’t just about fixing joints—it’s about helping people get back to doing what they love. As a board-certified Physician Assistant with a Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies, John brings a wealth of hands-on experience and a deeply collaborative approach to the team at OPA.
John joined OPA in 2020 after spending several years honing his skills in Grand Junction, Colorado. There, he managed everything from complex ER orthopedic consultations to working side-by-side with surgeons in the operating room for total joint replacements and sports medicine procedures. Today, John handles a comprehensive range of patient care, including advanced diagnostics, X-ray interpretation, and specialized joint injections with ultrasound. He prides himself on guiding patients through every step of their recovery with clear communication and genuine empathy.
When he’s not in the clinic or the OR, John practices exactly what he preaches: staying active and enjoying life. An outdoor enthusiast at heart, you can usually find him out on the lake with his family, surfing, hiking, snowboarding, or fishing.
