Meet Gene Falkowski, Jr., DO

Dr. Gene Falkowski is a fellowship-trained orthopedic spine surgeon who helps patients find relief from neck and back pain. He specializes in minimally invasive techniques and is certified in robotic spinal surgery. These methods help patients enjoy less postoperative pain and faster recoveries. He has interests in revision surgery, motion preservation (disc replacement), sacroiliac joint fusion, and deformity.

Patients also enjoy Dr. Falkowski’s ability to listen and take time to thoroughly explain conditions and treatment options.

Dr. Falkowski completed his orthopedic spine surgery fellowship at the University of Virginia School of Medicine and earned his medical degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine.

Today, in addition to his work with OPA, he’s a clinical instructor at the University of Washington School of Medicine and is a senior board reviewer for the American Osteopathic Board of Orthopedic Surgery. He also served as Chief of Surgery at Mat-Su Regional Medical Center.

An athlete himself, Dr. Falkowski is a former rugby player turned exercise enthusiast and mountain biker. He enjoys skiing, hiking, kayaking and biking along with hunting/shooting, travel, paintball, beer-brewing, and carpentry.
