Meet Brandy Atkins, DNP, FNP-C

Dr. Atkins has worked as an advanced nurse practitioner in Alaska since 2005.  She had 8 years of experience in outpatient pain management and interventional spine before joining the OPA team in 2013.  At OPA she has primary focused on spinal disease, but has also gained experience in acute care injuries, hand/wrist injuries, and rheumatologic disease.  She has a master of science in nursing from Vanderbilt University School of Nursing and holds a doctorate of nursing practice in family practice from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center. At OPA, she currently focuses on patients with orthopedic spine issues and takes a comprehensive approach to treatment.
