Meet Rochelle Alemán, PA-C
Certified Physician Assistant Rochelle Alemán brings a diverse set of healthcare experience to her practice at OPA. She began her career as a physical therapy technician and helped many Alaska Aces hockey players recover from injuries and get back on the ice. She has also worked part-time as an EMT and forensic phlebotomist and as a medical assistant. Seeking a more direct role in patient care, she completed a master’s degree in physician assistant studies and set her sights on working with a group that gives back to the community—and OPA was just the group!
Today Ms. Alemán cares for a wide variety of patients who come to OPA seeking treatment. As an athlete herself, she knows the value of getting back in the action as quickly and safely as possible. She has taken an interest in joint replacement surgery and assists Dr. Bryan Haughom alongside Zachary Johnson, PA-C.
Ms. Alemán was born and raised in Anchorage and enjoys everything Alaska has to offer with each of its seasons. When she’s not helping patients, you’ll find her playing hockey, hiking, chasing after her toddler, or playing soccer with her husband.
