Before becoming a Physical Therapist Assistant, Tracy Olson had a successful career as a finance analyst for an Alaskan oil exploration firm. Over the years, she was involved with several family members' physical therapy as they recovered from various medical issues. Following her own rehabilitation experience under the care of OPA's orthopedic surgical team & physical therapy teams, she was further inspired and motivated to return to school for a degree in physical therapy.

Ms. Olson earned her Associate of Applied Sciences degree in Physical Therapist Assistant from the University of Alaska Anchorage. Soon after graduation, she joined the OPA team, and today, she works directly with patients as a physical therapy assistant, helping implement patients' specific treatment plans. She has worked with a wide variety of patients and has experience in many different treatment modalities, including therapeutic exercises, balance training, manual therapy, joint mobilizations, manual stretching, soft tissue mobilization, and more.

When not working, she enjoys hiking with her dog, spending time with her family, camping, and harvesting berries for jams & jellies.
