Meet Megan Fisher, MAT, LAT, ATC

Megan Fisher is a certified athletic trainer with a passion for concussion safety and athlete education. She believes athletic training extends far beyond the sidelines, and values the opportunity to positively impact student athletes within both athletics and their day-to-day lives. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Human Performance from Boise State University in 2022 and her master’s in Athletic Training from the University of Montana in 2024. Currently, she is pursuing her doctoral studies at Florida International University.

Megan is an active member of the National Athletic Trainers Association (NATA) and the Northwest Athletic Trainers Association (NWATA). She joined the OPA team in September of 2024, bringing her expertise in concussion safety and rehabilitation. Beyond her clinical work, Megan is developing online continuing education courses aimed at educating healthcare providers on effective concussion diagnosis and vestibular ocular rehabilitation strategies.

Fluent in both Spanish and English, with Spanish as her first language, Megan moved to Alaska from Boise, Idaho. Outside of her professional commitments, she enjoys fishing, hiking, camping, and spending time with friends in the sunshine.
