Dr. Marc Beck is a board-certified musculoskeletal radiologist with nearly two decades of experience specializing in advanced imaging and interventional procedures that aid in the diagnosis and treatment of orthopedic conditions. His expertise in MRI, CT, and ultrasound-guided interventions allows him to provide precise, high-quality imaging that helps patients and their orthopedic surgeons make informed decisions about care.

Dr. Beck has spent the majority of his career focusing on musculoskeletal and spine imaging, working closely with orthopedic surgeons, sports medicine specialists, and other healthcare providers to diagnose joint injuries, fractures, and complex musculoskeletal disorders. His extensive background includes specialized training in procedures such as epidural steroid injections, joint aspirations, bone biopsies, and MR arthrography, offering both diagnostic and therapeutic benefits to patients.

A Minnesota native, Dr. Beck earned his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Minnesota Medical School in 2001, followed by a radiology residency at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, where he was elected Chief Resident. He further honed his expertise through a musculoskeletal radiology fellowship at the same institution. Since then, he has practiced in both Minnesota and Alaska, bringing cutting-edge imaging technology and clinical insight to orthopedic practices across the region.

Dr. Beck is passionate about helping patients understand their imaging results and working alongside their orthopedic teams to optimize treatment plans. His commitment to excellence in radiology ensures that every patient receives precise, accurate imaging interpretations tailored to their unique orthopedic needs.

When he’s not in the reading room, Dr. Beck enjoys exploring Alaska’s landscapes, fishing, hunting and spending time with his wife and three sons.
