Meet Kevin Knight, OTD, CHT
Kevin Knight, OTD, OTR/L, CHT, is the Director of Therapy Services at Orthopedic Physicians Alaska (OPA) and a Certified Hand Therapist specializing in the treatment of hand and upper extremity conditions.
Mr. Knight earned his Bachelor’s degree in Biology from Northwest Nazarene University and his Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from Creighton University. During his education, he completed clinical experiences in a variety of healthcare settings, including an international multidisciplinary experience in China that strengthened his passion for collaborative patient care.
Since joining OPA in 2016, Mr. Knight has enjoyed helping patients recover from injuries, surgeries, and conditions affecting the shoulder, elbow, wrist, and hand. He is passionate about the complexity of the hand and takes great satisfaction in helping patients regain function and return to the activities that are important to them.
Throughout his career, Mr. Knight has been dedicated to providing high-quality, patient-centered care. As Director of Therapy Services at OPA, he enjoys collaborating with therapists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to develop programs that help patients achieve their goals.
When he is not caring for patients, Kevin enjoys spending time with his wife and three children exploring Alaska’s outdoors through biking, skiing, hiking, boating, fishing, and camping.
