Meet Katrina White, DTCM, L.Ac.

Dr. Katrina White, DTCM, Dipl. Ac. (NCCAOM), L.Ac. is a National Board-Certified and Licensed Acupuncturist and Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine whose career reflects a distinctive blend of modern medical science and traditional healing. Before pursuing advanced studies in acupuncture and Chinese herbology, she spent time working in clinical laboratory medicine, developing a strong foundation in diagnostics, evidence-based healthcare, and patient-centered care. This unique background allows her to bridge Eastern and Western perspectives, offering a thoughtful and comprehensive approach to treatment.

Driven by a commitment to clinical excellence and lifelong learning, Dr. White completed her Doctorate in Traditional Chinese Medicine in 2021, further expanding her expertise in the integration of classical TCM principles with contemporary healthcare practices. Her clinical interests are centered on pain management and musculoskeletal health, but she also works with patients seeking support for a wide range of acute and chronic conditions, helping them achieve greater health, resilience, and quality of life.

Dr. White’s path to healthcare has been shaped by a spirit of exploration and service. As part of an Army family, she spent 17 years living in, and traveling to, many locations, gaining a deep appreciation for diverse cultures, healing traditions, and the importance of personalized care. Today, she and her husband have proudly made Alaska their permanent home, where they have raised their daughter and are enjoying the extraordinary beauty, adventure, and community that make the state unlike anywhere else in the world.
