Meet Barbara Lemmel, PT, DPT

Barbara is originally from the Midwest. Her early interest in the human body and sports led her to pursue a career in athletic training and physical therapy. She completed a sports clinical specialist residency program with Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center in 2013. Throughout her career, education, and residency training she has worked with various athletic teams at the high school, collegiate, and professional levels. Since 2020 she has spent much of her clinical time working with foot and ankle specialty teams developing a robust background in treating lower extremity conditions. Her experiences with patients from the time of injury through return to play decisions gives her an edge when working to get patients back to their normal activities. She has also completed extensive coursework in manual therapy, trigger point dry needling, and treating chronic pain to help her address multiple factors that may affect a patient’s recovery. When outside the clinic, Barbara enjoys hiking, camping, kayaking, yoga, and spending time outside with her family and dogs.
