About

Allison Lamb holds a doctorate degree in physical therapy and brings over a decade of experience to her practice. She’s worked with patients recovering from many different conditions, from total joint replacements to low back pain – and just about everything in between. She also a Certified Exercise Expert for Aging Adults (CEEAA). For all her patients, she strives to resolve issues for the long term by providing compassionate care and giving patients the tools they need going forward.

Ms. Lamb is a life-long Alaskan and Bartlett High School graduate. She received a NROTC scholarship to Oregon State University, where she set her sights on the medical field and earned her undergraduate degree in exercise sport science. After graduation, she served in the United States Navy as a commissioned officer aboard the USS Bohomme Richard and worked for the new pre-commissioned LCSRON Freedom and Independence. During her time in the Navy she worked on operating procedures for a new class of warships, was the physical training officer to 100 sailors, and was a part of the team who drove the ship.

In 2008, she came to back to Anchorage and worked as a physical therapy technician gain the hours required for PT school. After completion of her doctorate degree from Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, PA, she returned to Alaska and today is a vital member of the OPA therapy team.

When not working, she enjoys hiking, fly-fishing, running, van camping, XC skiing, watching sports, traveling, fat biking and, most recently, road cycling. She also attempts to take her crazy dogs outdoors when possible.
