Meet Elizabeth Paynter, PT

Elizabeth Paynter holds a master’s in physical therapy from the University of Iowa. Prior to physical therapy school she graduated Magna Cum Laude with a bachelor’s degree in Biology from Bradley University while swimming at the Division 1 level. She started off her career in the outpatient setting and continues to enjoy helping patients in an orthopedic based practice. At OPA, she guides patients through their orthopedic injuries to return to the lifestyle they want to attain. When not working she is taking advantage of the Alaska outdoors by hiking and xc skiing.

Thanks in part to her husband’s military career, she’s lived in Illinois, Iowa, Texas and Alaska. Today she and her family have settled in Eagle River and now devotes her time and energy to helping Alaskans at the OPA Therapy Clinic in Eagle River.
