You’ll connect with a Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC)—a healthcare professional trained to prevent, diagnose, and help treat sports injuries. They offer expert advice, rehabilitation guidance, and support to help you recover.

Insurance information is gathered during the intake phase to provide a complete visit summary to OPA once your visit is complete.

Your information is only used to follow up on your visit if needed. It’s never sold or shared. If you have a video visit, you may be asked to fill out a quick satisfaction survey.

• OrthoLive gives you fast access to a specialist who can offer advice about new or ongoing injuries, but they won’t diagnose conditions.
• OPA’s Injury Walk-in Clinic is an in-person option where a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant can examine you, order x-rays, and diagnose your injury.

After your chat or video call, the specialist will summarize your visit. If you need a follow-up, an OPA staff member will contact you to schedule an appointment.

If a specialist thinks you need an in-person exam or x-rays, they’ll recommend you visit OPA’s Injury Walk-in Clinic. In some cases, they may suggest going to the Emergency Department. These visits would be processed through your insurance.
