Molly Lewis, PA-C, is a board-certified Physician Assistant with experience in orthopedic care, emergency medicine, and rural healthcare. She is dedicated to providing comprehensive, patient-centered treatment, helping individuals recover from injuries, manage chronic conditions, and regain mobility.
Molly earned her Master of Physician Assistant Studies from Franklin College in 2021 and holds dual Bachelor’s degrees in Neuroscience and German from Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI). Before transitioning into orthopedic practice, she gained extensive experience as an itinerant physician assistant in remote Alaskan villages, providing urgent and primary care in challenging, resource-limited environments. Her ability to diagnose, treat, and manage complex musculoskeletal conditions makes her a valuable asset to the OPA team.
Her clinical background includes training in orthopedic procedures, fracture management, emergency trauma care, surgical assistance, and musculoskeletal rehabilitation. She is skilled in joint injections, casting, splinting, and injury stabilization, with additional expertise in pulmonary critical care, internal medicine, and behavioral health. Her well-rounded training allows her to offer evidence-based treatment plans that help patients recover and return to an active lifestyle.
Molly believes that education and empowerment are key components of healing, ensuring that each patient fully understands their condition and treatment options. She takes pride in building strong provider-patient relationships and working closely with surgeons, physical therapists, and rehabilitation specialists to optimize outcomes.
Outside of work, Molly enjoys exploring the outdoors, traveling, and staying active. She is excited to be part of Orthopedic Physicians Alaska, where she can combine her expertise in musculoskeletal medicine and patient advocacy to make a meaningful impact.
