Meet Mike Hales, PTA

Physical Therapist Assistant Mike Hales brings more than two decades of experience helping patients recover, regain mobility, and improve their quality of life. He currently serves as the manager of OPA’s Wasilla clinic.

After earning his degree in Physical Therapist Assisting from the University of Central Arkansas in 2000, Mike began his career in a variety of rehabilitation clinics throughout Arkansas before relocating to Wasilla in 2007.

Mike joined the OPA Therapy Services team when the Wasilla clinic opened in 2019. Working alongside OPA’s certified therapy staff, he develops, implements, and manages individualized treatment programs for patients with a wide range of orthopedic and post-surgical needs. He is experienced in treating diverse orthopedic diagnoses and is known for his creative, patient-focused approach to achieving the best possible outcomes.

Outside of the clinic, Mike enjoys spending time with his wife and three children exploring the outdoors through fishing, hunting, camping, hiking, skiing, and just about anything that gets the family outside.
