About

Jennifer Tennapel brings over 30 years experience and a high level of hand therapy expertise to her occupational therapy practice. Her approach to hand therapy involves integrating each individual’s medical and emotional needs into their treatment plans to optimize outcomes and overall patient well-being.

Ms. TenNapel’s early career included working on the Spinal Cord Team at University of Minnesota Hospital and as the acute inpatient rehab coordinator for the Regions Hospital Level 1 burn center in St. Paul. She worked as a certified hand therapist (CHT) in Minnesota and Colorado before following her dream to live in Alaska.

In 2022 she moved to Anchorage. OPA’s comprehensive services appealed to her career values and today she is pleased to be a member of the hand therapy team. She provides therapy services to patients the Lake Otis location and enjoys all kinds of Alaskan adventures – including camping, hiking, skiing, and traveling.
