About

Aurora Gargagliano holds a Doctor of Physical Therapy from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida and a bachelor’s in Health Science with a minor in Psychology from the University of Alaska Anchorage. Part of her education includes a short internship with the football team at East Anchorage High School – her alma matter – under Coach Jeff Trotter and OPA’s head athletic trainer, Lynne Young.

Today, Ms. Gargagliano has experience in the evaluation and treatment of a variety of orthopedic conditions, including acute care, for in a wide range of patients and conditions. She’s worked with pediatric, adolescent and adult patients recovering from athletic and other injuries, along with older adults rehabilitating from joint replacement and other surgeries.

Always learning, Ms. Gargagliano has the ability to Integrate a variety of interventions including manual therapy, intramuscular dry needling, kinesiotaping, and functional assessments to offer patients the care the works best for them. She’s also experienced in telehealth, enabling patients to continue care during the COVID-19 pandemic.

When not helping Alaskans enjoy an active lifestyle, Ms. Gargagliano enjoys travelling and exploring new places along with hiking, year-round biking.
