Physical Therapist
Location: OPA – [Insert Department/Clinic Location]

Anna Cantrell, PT, DPT, is a physical therapist committed to helping patients regain mobility, reduce pain, and return to the activities that matter most to them. She earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy from Northern Arizona University and holds a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education from the University of Idaho, graduating cum laude with dual majors in Math and English.

Anna’s clinical experience spans acute care and outpatient orthopedic settings, with additional training in pelvic floor health and sports rehabilitation. She has completed rotations at Alaska Native Medical Center in Anchorage, Therapeutics Associates in Boise, and Wright Physical Therapy, where she worked closely with patients recovering from orthopedic injuries, pelvic health concerns, and sports-related conditions. She has also contributed to neurological and orthopedic care in a student-led pro bono clinic and participated in research on bone health in female mountain bikers.

Before becoming a physical therapist, Anna worked as an educator in Alaska, Idaho, and abroad, including serving as a Fulbright English Teaching Assistant in Nepal. This background in teaching shapes her approach to patient care—combining clear communication, empathy, and evidence-based treatment to help patients understand their condition and take an active role in their recovery.
