About
Long-time Nurse Practitioner Amy Sims works to deliver patient-centered care with emphasis first on what the patient identifies as top priority and then addressing possible contributing health factors.
She enjoys empowering her patients with knowledge. Not only does she help patients and their families fully understand their medical condition(s), she works with them to identify achievable ways they can improve their health.
Amy joined the OPA team in 2024 with decades of experience and is a pivotal member of our new Kodiak Island location. In her off time, she enjoys hiking with her husband and five dogs, quilting, knitting, crocheting and visiting her grandchildren.
