About

Dr. Gene Falkowski is a fellowship-trained spine surgeon who helps patients find relief from back, neck and spine pain. He specializes in minimally invasive techniques – including non-surgical solutions – and is certified in robotic surgery. These methods help patients enjoy less postoperative pain and faster recoveries.

Patients also enjoy Dr. Falkowski’s ability to listen and take time to thoroughly explain conditions and treatment options.

Dr. Falkowski completed is orthopedic spine surgery fellowship at the University of Virginia School of Medicine and earned his medical degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine.

Today, in addition to his work with OPA, he’s a clinical instructor at the University of Washington School of Medicine and a volunteer team physician for UAA athletics.

An athlete himself, Dr. Falkowski is a former rugby player turned exercise enthusiast and mountain biker. He enjoys skiing, hiking, kayaking and biking along with hunting/shooting, travel, paintball, beer-brewing, and carpentry.
