Physical Therapist
Rachael Sizemore, PT, DPT, is an experienced physical therapist with nearly two decades of practice in a wide range of settings, from orthopedic clinics to acute care and home health. She is passionate about providing evidence-based care, building strong rapport with her patients, and helping them achieve their goals through personalized treatment plans.
Rachael earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy and Bachelor of Science degrees from Duquesne University. Over the course of her career, she has developed specialized skills in orthopedic rehabilitation, post-surgical recovery, and manual therapy techniques. She is trained in the Graston technique and dry needling with e-stim, which she incorporates alongside exercise-based therapy to optimize patient outcomes.
Rachael has worked in multiple outpatient orthopedic settings, including Anchorage Fracture & Orthopedic Clinic, Providence Orthopedic Hospital, and FYZICAL Therapy & Balance Center. She has also served in leadership roles, mentoring clinicians, training new hires, and developing orientation programs. Her experience spans orthopedic surgery recovery, sports injuries, joint replacement rehabilitation, and injury prevention.
Outside of work, Rachael enjoys life in Alaska and staying active in the outdoors. She is excited to bring her expertise and patient-focused care to the OPA Foot & Ankle team in Anchorage.
