About
Trever Kingsbury, DPT is a dedicated Doctor of Physical Therapy with a passion for helping patients regain strength, mobility, and confidence in their movement. With a background in both orthopedic and neurologic rehabilitation, he brings a well-rounded approach to physical therapy, focusing on evidence-based movement strategies, endurance training, and customized rehabilitation programs. Whether working with post-surgical patients, athletes, or individuals recovering from neurological conditions, Dr. Kingsbury tailors his treatments to optimize function and improve quality of life.
His expertise spans manual therapy, motor learning, gait analysis, and adaptive equipment fitting, allowing him to create individualized recovery plans for patients at all levels of function. He has extensive experience in post-stroke and traumatic brain injury rehabilitation, leading interdisciplinary teams in inpatient and outpatient settings to improve patient outcomes. His leadership in program development and therapy utilization has contributed to measurable improvements in patient satisfaction and functional recovery.
Dr. Kingsbury earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy from Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions in 2020 and a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from Brevard College in 2017, with a concentration in biomechanics and endurance coaching. He is a Harvard-Sparks Leadership Institute graduate and an advocate for ongoing professional development, leading research groups and evidence-based practice discussions to advance the field of physical therapy.
A lifelong athlete, Dr. Kingsbury applies his deep understanding of sports rehabilitation and endurance training to help patients recover and return to the activities they love. Whether fine-tuning a cyclist’s biomechanics, assisting a post-surgical patient with strength restoration, or guiding a neurologic patient through skill-based retraining, his goal is always the same—helping people move better, faster, and with less pain.
