About

Mark Lange is the director of OPA's physical therapy services. He has been a licensed physical therapist for over 25 years and has extensive experience in sports medicine and sports injury rehabilitation.

He earned his bachelor's degree in physical therapy at Northern Arizona University, graduating Magna Cum Laude/Outstanding Graduate. After graduation, he joined the United States Public Health Service and worked for the US Indian Health Service in Sacaton, Arizona. In 1991, Mr. Lange transferred to the U.S. Air Force where he served as a physical therapist until he retired from the USAF in 2010. During his service, he was assigned to bases in Arizona, Utah, Germany and Alaska.

In 2002, Mr. Lange became a board-certified orthopedic clinical specialist. Mr. Lange enjoys all aspects of orthopedic sports medicine rehabilitation and has spent much of his career assisting athletes with sports injuries on the sidelines of Chugiak and Eagle River high schools.

Mr. Lange earned his master's degree in business administration in 1998 and has worked as a director/supervisor for much of his professional career. He was the manager for a physical therapy practice in Eagle River for four years prior to joining the OPA team as director of physical therapy services.
