About

Chelsea Bouman is a board-certified orthopedic clinical specialist. She holds a doctorate of physical therapy from the University of Central Arkansas and a bachelor of science in human physiology from the University of Oregon. She completed her clinical rotation at Charton Physical Therapy in Morrilton, Arkansas. She began her career as a travel physical therapist, working in various clinics in the Pacific Northwest, before joining OPA as a full time member of the therapy services team.

Ms. Bouman has experience treating many different diagnoses and developing plans of care for a wide variety of patients. She employs a variety of manual therapy and therapeutic exercise treatment techniques to help her patients and works effectively with multidisciplinary teams to best coordinate patient care.

As an athlete herself, Ms. Bouman has a special interest in sports medicine and helping patients recover from sports injuries. She was born in Anchorage and is thrilled to be practicing in her home town, helping fellow Alaskans. In her spare time she plays and coaches basketball at a local high school and enjoys hiking and camping.
