About
When Bailey Green, PA-C sets her sights on something, she goes all out. In her youth she was a competitive gymnast, retiring as a “Level 8.” In college, she dove into the pre-med track and graduated from North Carolina State University with a bachelor’s degree in Integrative physiology & neurobiology with a minor in psychology. In grad school at Texas Tech University, she earned a master’s degree in physician assistant studies.
Along her journey, she worked as a medical assistant in Cliffside (NC), an applied behavior analyst tutor for children diagnosed with autism and other developmental disorders in Eagle River, and then as a certified physician assistant working in primary care for an IHS facility in Wasilla. There she was an integral member of a multi-disciplinary care team that included health consultants, nutritionists, certified nurse midwives, pharmacists, physical therapists and chiropractors.
In 2021 she jumped at the opportunity to work at OPA and focus on orthopedics. Today she is a member of the Wasilla hand surgery team, working closely with Dr. Dann Laudermilch to help patients with wide variety of hand, wrist & upper extremity conditions.
When not working, Ms. Green is likely enjoying time with her husband and corgi out hiking, kayaking and traveling.
